| Detailed Description |
| We have 1 large room for rent in our Barkly St, St Kilda property available from Saturday 15th August (TBC) with potential for earlier move in subject to current tenant moving out earlier. This can be negotiated once our exiting housemate has found a new place and has her move out date is confirmed.
Monthly rent is $890 (that is pro rata) plus a quarterly share in utilities bills as they come in, and input into communal kitchen and bathroom items.
Wifi internet is already installed and can be used at a price.
About the house
It is a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom single level house with large front and backyard. The backyard contains a large deck, grassed area, and two shed/bungalows which we use for storage.
Currently have 3 females living in the house + 1 hungarian viszla dog. New roomie would need to be a dog lover as Zeppelin spends some time indoors when people are home.
The only communal area is the kitchen/lounge which contains a 4-seater dining table, 4 seater couch and TV unit.
The kitchen contains 2 x fridges – we each share half a fridge for our refrigerated items.
The house is fully furnished – you would only need to bring items to furnish your room (including wardrobe or clothes rack, as we do not have built in ones). All bedrooms in the house are large – big enough to fit a King bed and other furniture easily.
About the location
We are 100 metres from Acland Street, and only a few hundred metres from the beach.
The number 1 tram on Acland St goes all the way into the city.
One side of Barkly St is unlimited timing for parking, and the opposite side is permit (which can be organised through the council if you wish to have more parking options available to you).
Balaclava train station is the closest station to our place.
About us
We are 3 friendly girls aged between 24-30, and each have our separate lifestyles. We all work full time and two of us study in addition to full time work. We all come and go at different times each day, therefore we are looking for somebody who will be considerate of others as we are with each other regarding comings and goings each morning and evening.
Two of us are vegan, and we are all very much into our healthy lifestyles including gym and yoga nearby.
We are not a party house, and are respectful of each other’s space in the house. We attempt to keep visits from friends or family to the weekends to avoid disrupting each other’s nightly routine.
What we are looking for in a new roomie
Somebody who is:

· Respectful of other’s belongings and space
· Willing to pitch in with weekly cleaning duties of communal areas to keep the house clean
