About the House:
Fully furnished, 2 bedroom townhouse in Yarraville. This period style home offers high ceilings and old world charm, has open plan living and dining, a neat and complete kitchen, powder room and laundry area on the the ground level, with access to the courtyard where there is a gazebo and outdoor seating.
On the second floor there is a shared shower, bath and toilet with a bright and sunny study in the mezzanine level adjoining the two bedrooms.
About the Room and Rent:
“Bedroom” is available: Jun 6, 2014
Size and furniture: Medium bedroom (double bed size). Provided with or without a bed (double bed available).

Rent and bond: Bond - 845
Rent for a single for their own room is $195.00 per week, paid monthly, excluding all bills.
Availability period: Available for 3 months to indefinite.
Other information: Medium room, with a double bed, desk and built in robes, heating and a fan. The room is bright with a lot of morning sun.
Utilities:
We halve the utilities for gas, electricity, water, phone and internet. At the moment I do not have cable tv/foxtel, but am open to discussion.
About Me:
Hey thanks for dropping by, I have tried to fill in everything you need to know in the details if you're one to read, otherwise, if I missed anything, message me and I will try my best answer your question.
I'm Joshua, 29 year old gay male, I work with people who have intellectual disabilities, mental illness and Acquired Brain Injuries. I also do some graphic design and photography part time. I enjoy my time to myself and the comforts of my home. I do like to bounce ideas with those around me every now and then. I do shift work, and the nature of some of them have me away from home during what most people would consider "normal hours" of being home.
I like living in an organized environment and try to keep my home environment clean and orderly... when I can.
I stay away from prejudice and avoid arrogance when I can, respect individuality and we'll probably get along.
About the Pet:
I have one tabby-bengal cross who lives with me, Mister Kitana, who has lived with humans for most of his life. He is rather friendly and likes to show you that he has missed you after he hasn't seen you in a while. He will usually sit next to those he considers his friends on the couch.
He is completely house broken and enjoys most of his days just sitting around people. I look after him and make sure that his litter box is cleaned every 2 days. He is currently learning that tables and benches are not a place for cats, so feel free to push him off if you see him on them.
Occasionally, he does tend to get lonely if he does not see his "humans," the occupants of the house, for a few days. during these times, he will probably try and snuggle at your feet or next to or on your lap if you happen to return earlier than I do (rare does it happen that i go away for days, without organising it first with my housemate, of course).
What I Seek:
I'm looking to share a home with positive people who enjoy privacy and a serene home environment; someone who appreciates the comfort of a clean home environment and does not mind to chat or talk every now with the capacity to bounce ideas off one another. Ideally you would have shared before, but not necessary. |
