| Detailed Description |
| We are looking for a friendly person to share our lovely two storey house in Everton Hills. The bedroom for rent is $140 and this includes all bills.
About us: You will be sharing the upstairs area with Yaz (28) and there is also a spare bedroom upstairs which we use as a guest bedroom when friends stay over. The kitchen is also shared with Clae (22) who lives There is also a fifth member of the household called Rotar, a very friendly black and white 12 year old cat. He belongs to Yaz so spends more of his time upstairs so if you dislike cats this most likely isn’t the house for you!
The house is fully furnished apart from your room. The photo shown has the current housemate’s furniture in it which she is taking with her, so you will need to bring your own bed etc. The rest of the house has everything you need including an awesome big TV in the lounge and there is even a clothes dryer in the laundry for when its rainy! We have also just had a lovely new gas stove installed for all those enthusiastic cooks out there!
Your rent includes:

No bills to worry about except the rent each week! :)
The house is well protected with security screens on most of the windows, and your room has polished wooden floors, a built in wardrobe and air-conditioning. You only need to share the bathroom with Yaz as the boys have their own bathroom downstairs.
The house is just around the corner from Brookside Shopping centre and is also close to transport- 15 minute walk or two minute drive to Mitchelton train station and the bus stop is a short walk down the street. You will need to sign a lease until the end of June, and then a new lease will be started after that if you wish to stay on. Bond is 4 weeks rent and you will also need to pay two weeks rent in advance. Our house is managed by a real estate agency so you will need to fill out an application form when you apply.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a fun, friendly housemate to join our house. Someone who enjoys a chat when they get home at night and doesn’t go straight to their room! We all work fulltime so are respectful of keeping the noise levels down at night and don’t have loud parties during the week! We would also like someone who is tidy and can clean up after themself, as we are all busy people and do our share around the house. But most of all we just want someone who is sociable, easy-going and easy to hang out with! If you think this fits what you are looking for then we would love to hear from you! |
