| Hello!
We're one American girl and one English guy moving to a fantastic terrace house in Paddington, and need a third to round out the house! The place is wonderful, a roomy 3 bedroom terrace with garden, centrally located on a quiet street but very near Five Ways and public transport, as well as directly across the street from the Royal Women's Hospital Park! The room for lease is situated at the back of the house (quiet!), fits a double bed and has it's own balcony off the side of the house. Weekly rent will be $350, move-in May 25.
Between the two of us, we already have a good amount of furniture for the common rooms, but if you have some things you'd like to bring, we're happy to accomodate. You will need to furnish the bedroom as well.
We're hoping to find a great third person who loves Paddington, is easy-going but social, respectful, tidy, friendly, etc. Ideally would like a professional who works full-time and is looking to make a house a home for a while.
Here's a bit about us (we're not a couple):
Gareth: I'm a 30 year old English guy who has been in Sydney for 3.5 years and working full time in the CBD. I'm social and active, involved in a football (soccer) team playing regularly on the weekend. I have some great friends in Sydney but always keen to meet new people and do new things. I have been in Paddington for the last 14 months and would love to live with people who want to socialise with each other and make a proper home for a while. I'm happy chilling out at home but also love a good night out, although don't want to live in a party house.
Jenn: I'm a 27 year-old professional working full-time in the city. I am outgoing and fun, but also enjoy quiet nights at home during the week with a glass of wine and a book or the TV. I'm American and still relatively new to Sydney, so looking for someone who is willing to explore new restaurants and make new friends with me in addition to being housemates. I have a 4-kilo small dog who is mellow, a snuggler, loves other dogs and cats and loves having furry flatmates just as much as human ones.
