| This bedroom is part of a 6 person flat/unit that has a spacious communal combined kitchen-living room. It is one of many self-contained student flats in a pleasant high rise building, with lift access for your convenience. It is located in an incredibly central area, well within a 10 minute walk to the urban beach and the various restaurants and bars dotted around South Bank. It is within 3 minutes of South Bank bus and train station, so is perfectly located in terms of getting around the city. The bus to the University of Queensland runs frequently and takes around 10-15 minutes, while it is adjacent to TAFE and a quick walk over the bridge gets you to QUT. The flat's best qualities are definitely its incredible location and its clean, self-contained nature; while it is perfect for those who want to keep their head down and study, the communal lobby with a huge plasma tv and area for playing card games/socialising is perfect for getting to know people and making new friends. I am moving out as I am moving in with my boyfriend into a house share, but the 5 other people living in my flat are all lovely; there is one girl from England and four guys varying in nationality- from Kuwait, Iran, Kenya and Australia. Everyone is friendly and gets on well! |
