| Detailed Description |
| My husband & I are looking for a mature and respectable housemate to lease one of the rooms in the 3br house we're renting through a private landlord on Dryburgh St, in North Melbourne.
We're both social, easy going, and employed full time. I guess we're both pretty well rounded after spending some years in the UK. We've lived in lots of shared houses in our time, so know what's required to maintain a healthy relationship with our housemates.
The house features a dining room, separate lounge, galley kitchen, gas cooking and heating, backyard with back-street entry, outdoor bathroom/toilet, and on-street parking. The backyard has a beautiful lemon tree, which we hang a hammock from in summer, also the neighbours next door are very friendly.
You'll have the choice of either;
The front room - large & east facing window, more private from the rest of the house but with a some noise from the road traffic, or;
The middle room - slightly smaller, a window to the kitchen and skylight, but no noise at all from the traffic.
Obviously you can change your mind once you're in. We'll always have a room spare, for a separate living space/lounge & if guests want to stay. It will be a 6 month contract. Which can be extended to a maximum of 12 months.
We're 5 mins walk to the station and 2 blocks away from the nearest tram stop. 10 minute walk to Errol St shops and cafes.
You'd also need to be happy to share the house with our friendly little cat & dog, Kurt & Douglas.
