| Hello, My name is Jess. I am 28 and currently work full time in WorkCover whilst I (slowly!) finish my uni degree, (Bachelor of Applied Social Science.) I love going to gigs and markets, cooking up desserts, reading and catching up with friends. I am looking for an honest, down to earth and friendly housemate, with whom I can relax and spend time with, but who also likes their own space.
he place is a two bedroom flat in Carnegie, a few minutes walk from Carnegie station and Koornang road.
The rent is $825.50 per month, excluding bills (however the only bills received are for electricity, quarterly, and Internet/wireless. Water is paid for by the landlord.)
The room available is a double room, and has a new double bed, desk and bedside table for sale if you need furniture. Otherwise it can be unfurnished. The rest of the flat is furnished, although it may be able to fit some bits and pieces if you have furniture?
My room mate is moving out middle of December, so the room will be available from then, however if you require a room sooner then she can move out sooner.
Flat has cute kitchen adjoining living room, with couch and tv area and small dining table - all one room. Bathroom and toilet adjoin one side of lounge room, and the two bedrooms adjoin the other side. There is a small courtyard (which I will be cleaning up soon and adding some outside furniture too hopefully!)
I also have a cat. He is both inside and outside cat, and comes and goes through the car door (although he goes require to be let in in the evenings.) he is really laid back and affectionate. You can love or ignore him, your choice :)
As to me, I am studying a Bachelor of Applied Social Science and also work full time in workcover to pay the bills. I am usually pretty quiet during the weekdays, and out on the weekends. I also do placement on weekend for uni, so am often out for that too.
